Butterflies: A Concert of Arias and Songs with Soprano Catherine Thornsley

Through some of opera’s most passionate and dramatic arias, as well as some of Mexico’s most treasured songs, this program explores the exquisite tension between excitement and vulnerability: the spark of first attraction, the ache of longing, the tremble of uncertainty, and the dizzying joy of surrender. Performance by soprano Catherine Thornsley and pianist Roger Parton.
